JMeter is a 100% Java application and should run correctly on any system that has a compliant Java implementation.
We will download and install java on MAC OS. If you wish to install java on Windows you may skip this tutorial and may refer our tutorial Install JDK on Windows and Set Environment Path on Windows. I'm using Jmeter on a Mac OS X 10.9, upgraded from Jmeter 2.9 to 2.12, and Java version 1.6065. When attempting to move a sampler node, it doesn't seem to be working any longer in the latest release as it is no longer asking if you want it to insert before or after the node highlighted.
Download ZAP Checksums for all of the ZAP downloads are maintained on the 2.9.0 Release Page and in the relevant version files. As with all software we strongly recommend that ZAP is only installed and used on operating systems and JREs that are fully patched and actively maintained. Download Apache JMeter. We recommend you use a mirror to download our release builds, but you must verify the integrity of the downloaded files using signatures downloaded from our main distribution directories. Recent releases (48 hours) may not yet be available from all the mirrors.
